Too many candle companies focus on the scent of their candles above everything else, which sadly means our homes are filled with cheap and toxic candles that actually do nothing for your health, and instead do the opposite for your wellbeing. Even most expensive 'luxury' candle companies use toxic ingredients in their candle-making, and so this has become the standard. Burning paraffin wax and synthetic fragrances release toxic substances which have been linked to asthma and lung diseases, and are known for exacerbating headaches, allergies and even nausea.

We believe that candles should be as healthy for you as they are beautiful to look at, and this is why our premium soy based wax candles contain pure therapeutic grade essential oils chosen especially for their healing benefits - and nothing else!

We use premium grade plant-based soy wax for our spiritual wellness aromatherapy candles. Soy wax is natural, biodegradable, burns cleanly and evenly, has a strong scent throw and lasts much longer than traditional paraffin-based wax. The natural properties and premium quality make soy candles more expensive to produce than regular paraffin candles.

Unfortunately, no. Most candles are traditionally made from paraffin wax which is a cheap by-product of petroleum. Paraffin wax is neither biodegradable nor clean burning, producing harmful black soot when burned. They also release highly toxic mutagens and carcinogens into the atmosphere, such as benzene and toluene (the same toxins as those found in diesel fuel fumes) which is linked to asthma and other lung diseases. Paraffin candles actively decrease the quality of the air as they burn and are considered harmful to the environment.

Even all soy wax candles are not the same. Since candles only need to be 51% soy to be labeled as a soy wax candle, this means that 49% of the candle wax can actually be blended with paraffin or other chemical wax to make it cheaper. We ONLY use natural, pure soy wax for our candles.

Most candles are scented using synthetic fragrance oils, most of which are cheap and full of nasties such as phthalates, DEP and parabens among others. These toxic substances then get released into the atmosphere when the candle is burning.

Essentials oils on the other hand are 100% naturally occurring oils that are extracted from a plant's leaves, flowers, fruits or bark. They are more expensive to create and use, and they also tend to be more difficult to use in candlemaking.

While fragrance oils are cheaper and easier to use, and you can create more variety of scents with them, they do not have any of the medicinal, aromatherapeutic and healing effects that essential oils do - decreasing the quality of the air you breathe instead.

Our candles are free from any artificial dyes, phthalates or parabens. Some of our candle blends may have differently coloured wax, however this change in colour is due to the natural colour of the essential oils used in that blend and nothing else!

Yes! Once there is just about 1/4 inch of wax left, stop using the candle for safety reasons. There are a few ways you can easily remove the remaining wax and wick:

1. Place your container in a warm (not very hot!) oven and allow the wax to liquify. Carefully pour the wax out and wipe clean once melted.

2. Place the glass container in hot water to allow the wax to soften so that it can be gently scooped/poured out. Soap and water can then be used to remove the wax residue.

3. Place your container in the freezer, and once the wax hardens, it can be gently chipped out with a butter knife.

We recommend not submerging the label in water so that you can continue to benefit from the powerful reminders. Please dispose of the remaining wax in your household compost/recycling.

If you require your order sooner, the safest option is to choose next day delivery which now guarantees delivery by 1pm the next day. Orders must be placed before 3pm Monday to Friday. If you place your order after 3pm on a Friday, you will receive it on the Monday. Items ordered at weekends or on Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next available working day e.g. if an order is placed on a Bank Holiday Monday, it will be dispatched on Tuesday.

If you place your order on a Friday before 3pm and need it to be delivered on a Saturday, then please choose the next day Saturday guaranteed delivery option.

Please note, we cannot be held responsible for orders that are delayed by Royal Mail as we have no control over timescales once a parcel leaves our premises.

We offer a 30 day, no-risk return for all of our products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for a full refund of the purchase price. The jewellery must be returned in perfect condition and in its original packaging. 

Candles must be returned without being lit or burned in any way, in its original packaging and in a resalable condition. Please also ensure candles are suitably packaged to avoid breakage during transit back to us, as items that suffer damage due to poor packing will not be refunded.

Refunds are processed within 7-10 working days.
